This week has been so full of Joy and Love for me!!! I think its been my favorite week so far!! I am learning to abide in God and to accept his love for me and truly believe that I am loved and that i am perfectly and wonderfully made (Psalm 139)!!!!
On Monday was a great day of worshipping the Lord and sitting in his presence. As a group we went to the Savemor (local store) and got some snacks. We had team time which happens every Monday-Friday, team time is part of my favorite time of the day!!
Tuesday we got to meet our hosts, which was awesome finally getting to meet them. We went to the carepoint later that morning than usual, every Tuesday we do a house visit and our team is getting better at it and I love seeing our growth in those areas, we got to encourage and pray over the young man at the house visit and Im excited to see how God works in his life!! Playing with the kids after coming back is always a highlight, they have so much energy and joy in them!! Sihlelelwe is always with me and I love her so much, it will definitely be super hard to have to say goodbye when that time comes. So im trying to live in the moments and create so many good memories!! And take lots of photos!! After the carepoint my team made dinner for everyone which was stir-fry and it was so good, one of the best meals yet!! For team time we had feedback and watched a movie and had popcorn!! Super awesome!!
Wednesday we had our usual day at the carepoint, we did a housevisit at the same house that we did on Tuesday and got to talk to the grandma this time and she taught us how to make a mat and it was super cool and we all got to try and it was actually decently easy and fun. They gave us bananas and they were really good. Her granddaughter arrived and she asked for prayer cuz shes sick, and so it was an incredible opportunity to step in faith and pray with the authority and confidence that God has given us!!! The rest of the day was spent playing with the children and one of the girls gave me a letter it was so sweet!!! I love getting to connect with all the children i didn’t really think I would connect with the older kids but the Lord is changing that around, Praise God!!!! In the evening we had dinner and my team was on cleanup and then I spent close to an hour or more scrubbing kitchen towels and that included soaking them twice!! Some of the others had worship time. When I went to shower after being super dirty all day, I was told theres no more water and I was like I cannot go to bed this dirty so I went outside where we wash clothes and got the last amount of water from the sink to take a bucket shower. Thankyou Jesus!!! It was honestly one of my favorite days so far of ministry, I just felt so free and full of Joy!!!
Thursday was spent weeding the yard at the carepoint and playing with the children!!
Friday morning us girls and G squad went to Manzini for prayer ministry and we got to see the boys finally again!!!! It was a great day of prayer walking thru the city and praying over people!!! My group got permission to go to Hope House (clinic) and pray over people their and encourage them!! Such a great opportunity to have God use us!!! I love seeing God teach me more how to pray!! After prayer ministry we went to pick-n-pay for groceries for the team and then we got to go to the boys house for a little bit and go to the little market behind there house where it was all homemade bags and ornaments, it was super cool!!! We got back to Nsoko around 8 and then we still had super and got to bed later!!
Saturday we left the base at 6 and met up with the guys at a safari which was awesome getting to spend some more time with em!! We got to see quite a few animals. Giraffes, lions, elephants, rhino’s, hippopotamus, and so many antelope, wildebeest, and a crocodile. It was a great experience!!! As a little girl I always dreamed of being able to have this experience and it finally happened!!! A good reminder to never give up on your dreams!!! I am absolutely loving all the experiences!!! Praise God!!!
