Wow its crazy to think we are already done with our first country, Swaziland!!!
A few highlights of Swazi
– The stillness and the ability to slow down and not have as many distractions.
-Teamtime: getting to hangout with my team and encourage each other and have fun playing games and making bracelets and so many other things.
-Going to the carepoint and loving on the kids, and building relationships with our shepherd Happiness and all the teenagers!! Dance parties were always a favorite!!
-Going to the restaurant on our adventure days and going swimming!
-Surprise birthday/ half birthday celebrations for Carlee and Abby!
-doing housevisits and getting to see the community
A few low lights of Swazi
-having to sleep with all the bugs and spiders
-having to leave all of the kids behind after getting to know them
-having to smell the factory everyday, lol
-having a head cold
Overall it was an amazing experience and i absolutely love it in Swaziland!!
Debrief……..
South Africa has been amazing! Getting to rest and prepare for our next country Malaysia! Ive loved making cinnamon rolls for everyone and making pizza and have people taste it and giving me there opinions on my cooking and baking!
Our squad got to go to Kruger National Park and wow it was awesome!! We left at 4:30 in the morning and it was a 12 hr drive with them picking us up and driving around the safari! It was so fun getting to see herds of elephants and seeing, leopards, zebras, giraffes, a lion, rhino’s, hippos, and other cool animals!! We also got to see any amzing sunrise on the way there, it was stunning!!
Debrief has been great so far! Im so excited to go to Malaysia and see how God transform me there as well!! It will definitely be different then Swaziland and we will be all squad, which will be super fun!! Im excited to give you more updates once we get there and start ministry!!

Thank you for the wrap up info from your time in eSwatini (formerly Swaziland) and the debriefing in South Africa. Kruger is amazing, for sure–such a great way to see how big God is after seeing so much suffering and the effects of AIDS/HIV in eSwatini. God’s best to you as you move on to Malaysia!
